Ingredients

1 cup

elbow macaroni, uncooked

1 

onion, chopped, divided

1 lb

lean ground beef

1 

green pepper, chopped

1 can

(15.5 oz.) chili beans

1 can

(14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained

Original Cheese Fresh Packs (4 oz.), cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Instructions

Step 1

Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt.

Step 2

Meanwhile, reserve 1/3 cup onions. Brown meat with peppers and remaining onions in Dutch oven or large deep skillet; drain. Return meat mixture to pan. Stir in beans, tomatoes and VELVEETA; cook 5 min. or until mixture is heated through and VELVEETA starts to melt, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Drain macaroni. Add to meat mixture; mix lightly. Top with reserved onions.
