Instructions
Step 1
HEAT oven to 375ºF.
Step 2
MIX cream cheese, mayo, Worcestershire sauce and dry seasonings in medium bowl until blended. Stir in cheddar cheese and pimentos. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 3
PAT wieners dry with paper towel. Use sharp knife to make shallow 1/4-inch-thick slices in tops of wieners. Turn wieners 90 degrees, then repeat cuts to resemble crosshatch designs in tops of wieners as shown in photo.
Step 4
PLACE wieners, cut sides up, on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Reserve 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce for later use, drizzle remaining barbecue sauce over wieners.
Step 5
BAKE 30 min. or until golden brown.
Step 6
PLACE wieners in buns; drizzle with reserved barbecue sauce. Top with pimento cheese.
Substitute:
Substitute 1 cup purchased pimento cheese for the homemade pimento cheese. Look for it in the specialty cheese section of your local supermarket.
