Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 400ºF.

  2. Step 2

Place bacon slices in single layer on parchment-covered rimmed baking sheet. Bake 10 min.

  3. Step 3

Remove baking sheet from oven (bacon will not be done.) Unfold pastry sheet onto second parchment-covered baking sheet. Use tines of fork to crimp edges of pastry sheet.

  4. Step 4

Mix cream cheese, egg yolks, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper and 3 Tbsp. of the Parmesan cheese until blended. Spread onto bottom of pastry sheet.

  5. Step 5

Place asparagus spears in 3 parallel rows on pastry sheet, leaving 1 to 1-1/2 inches between each group of asparagus spears.

  6. Step 6

Bake 20 min. Remove tart from oven.

  7. Step 7

Place bacon slices in spaces between rows of asparagus spears as shown in photo. Bake an additional 10 min. or until bacon is done and edges of pastry crust are golden brown.

  8. Step 8

Sprinkle tart with remaining Parmesan cheese.
