A delicious and creamy Chipotle Chicken Fettuccine featuring tender chicken, a smoky chipotle cream sauce made with lactose-free cream cheese, and fresh cilantro.

Lime, cut in half, divided

Chicken Tenders

Ground Cumin

Canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce with 2 tsp. sauce, divided

Finely Chopped Onions

Instructions
Step 1
COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting the salt.
Step 2
MEANWHILE, reserve 1 lime half for later use. Squeeze juice from remaining lime half. Add to chicken in medium bowl along with the cumin and 2 tsp. adobo sauce; toss to evenly coat chicken with adobo sauce mixture.
Step 3
HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook 6 to 8 min. or until done, turning after 4 min. Transfer chicken to plate; cover to keep warm.
Step 4
ADD onions to skillet; cook 2 to 3 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min. Remove from heat.
Step 5
DRAIN pasta, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water. Return pasta to saucepan.
Step 6
POUR reserved cooking water into blender. Add cream cheese, bouillon and chipotle peppers; cover. Blend until smooth.
Step 7
ADD cream cheese sauce to pasta; toss to evenly coat pasta with sauce. Spoon onto serving plate.
Step 8
SLICE chicken; place over pasta. Squeeze juice from reserved lime half over chicken; sprinkle with cilantro.
If you forget to reserve the pasta cooking water, you can use water instead.
