Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 13x9-inch cake, substituting 1 cup of the diet cola for the 1 cup water. Immediately poke deep holes in cake at 1-inch intervals, using handle of wooden spoon.
Step 3
Beat pudding mix and remaining diet cola in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Immediately pour pudding over warm cake; spread to allow pudding to evenly seep into holes in cake. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over cake.
Step 4
Refrigerate 1 hr.
Step 5
Frost cake with COOL WHIP, then top with cherries.
