Ingredients

    plain bread crumbs

    milk

    olive oil

    onion, diced

    parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1/4

    bunch

    fresh parsley, crushed

    dried Italian herb seasoning

    crushed red pepper flakes

    Classico creamy ricotta pasta sauce (24oz)


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray. Soak breadcrumbs in milk in a small bowl for 20 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking and stirring 15 min.

  3. Step 3

    Stir beef and pork together in a large bowl. Add onions, bread crumb mixture, eggs, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian herb seasoning, and red pepper flakes, mix. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

  4. Step 4

    Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

    Form mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter; arrange in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Step 6

    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

    Serve with pasta sauce & enjoy!
