Shortbread cookies are a cookie-swap favourite. Bake up a batch of our BAKER's Chocolate Chunk Snowballs for your next Christmas cookie exchange.

Ingredients

    cups

    butter, softened

  • -

    cup

    icing sugar

  • 3-1/2

    cups

    all purpose flour

  • 1/2

    cup

    corn starch

  • 1

    pkg

    (170 g) Baker's Bittersweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped

  • 1

    cup

    pecans, toasted, coarsely chopped

  • -

    cup

    icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    BEAT butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Stir in flour & corn starch, then chocolate & pecans.

  2. Step 2

    ROLL dough into 1 in. (2.5 cm) balls & place on ungreased baking sheets.

  3. Step 3

    BAKE for 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C) or until lightly browned; cool. Dust lightly with icing sugar. Store in air-tight container.
