Satay peanut noodles


Ingredients

    Egg noodles

  • 200

    g

    Mushrooms, sliced

  • 2

    Garlic cloves, minced

  • 250

    ml

    Wattie's satay sauce

  • 1

    Spring onion, sliced

  • 3

    tbsp

    Sesame seeds

  • 1/4

    cup

    Chopped peanuts, toasted

  • -

    Chilli flakes, optional


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Cook noodles according to the packet instructions. Reserve ¼ cup of the cooking water and drain.

  2. Step 2

    Sauté the mushrooms and garlic in a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Add in the satay sauce and bring to a simmer.

  3. Step 3

    Once simmering add the drained noodles and stir until well coated in the satay sauce, adding in any cooking water if required.

  4. Step 4

    Garnish with spring onions, sesame seeds, peanuts and chilli flakes if desired. Serve and enjoy!
