Ingredients

    udon noodles, cooked according to packet instructions

    Wattie's® Super Mix

  • 3

    tbsp

    cornflour

  • 1

    tsp

    baking soda

  • 1/2

    cup

    soy sauce

  • 4

    tbsp

    oyster sauce

  • 1

    tbsp

    brown sugar

  • 3

    tbsp

    rice wine vinegar

  • 1

    tbsp

    sesame oil

  • 1

    tbsp

    sweet chilli sauce

  • 2

    cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1

    tbsp

    ginger, minced

  • Sesame seeds for garnish

  • Spring onion for garnish


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Thinly slice the steak. Add to a bowl along with cornflour and baking soda. Give it a good mix and set aside.

  2. Step 2

    Grab a large bowl and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger. Give it a good mix.

  3. Step 3

    Place a pan over a high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the beef and brown it on both sides. Remove from pan and set aside.

  4. Step 4

    Add Wattie's Super Mix to the pan and cook for a couple of minutes then add the cooked udon noodles and sauce. Stir for a couple of minutes then add the beef back in. Stir well then plate up and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion.
