Classic Smash Burger


Ingredients

  • 320

    g

    Beef mince

  • 4

    slices

    Cheddar cheese

  • 2

    Brioche buns

  • 2 Tbsp

    Wattie's® Classic Burger Sauce

  • 1/2

    Brown onion

  • 2

    Dill pickles


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Roll out four 80g beef balls and refrigerate.

  2. Step 2

    Chop brown onion into small pieces and slice your pickles.

  3. Step 3

    On a hot griddle, toast your buns then add the meatballs and smash them nice and thin to get a nice crust.

  4. Step 4

    Season the meat, then flip to cook the other side. Add a slice of cheese to the top of each smashed ball and allow to melt. Stack one smashed ball onto another and remove to a board to rest.

  5. Step 5

    Slather your toasted bun with Wattie's Classic Burger Sauce then your doubled stack of beef. then add your onions and pickles.
