Glazed BBQ steaks


Ingredients

    cup

    Wattie's smoked hickory flavoured BBQ sauce

  • 1

    tsp

    Finely grated fresh ginger

  • 1

    clove

    Garlic, crushed

  • 1

    tbsp

    Wholegrain mustard

  • 1

    tbsp

    Brown sugar

  • 1

    tbsp

    Olive oil

    Beef sirloin or rump steak


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    To make the glaze. Mix together the Wattie's Smoked Hickory Flavoured BBQ Sauce, ginger, garlic, wholegrain mustard, brown sugar and oil.

    Heat the BBQ plate to a medium-high temperature. Place the steaks onto the hot plate. Brush the steaks with the glaze. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning once during cooking, or until the steaks are cooked to your liking, brushing with the glaze during cooking.

  3. Step 3

    Once cooked, remove from the heat and rest the steak for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with a green salad and boiled new potatoes.
